Thank you Lori for finishing Boetie up in the short time you showed him. 08/18/2007 Leinie's Championship We are very proud to announce we finished a fourth champion for this year. This is the second champion for our sweet boy AJ. CH Happy Tail's Campfire Stories, "LEINIE" (CH Interlude's BarbWire N Roses X CH Interlude's Under The Influence,AX,OA,OAJ,NA,NAJ,CD,RN) finished his championship in grand style taking a five point major at the Waukesha, WI shows last weekend. This finished him up with 4 majors total at the age of 15 months! Leinie's other accomplishments during his short show career are... A first place win from the 12 to 15 month futurity class at the 2007 nationals and a second placement in the 12 to 18 regular classes. Leinie won two of his four majors at boxer specialties going best of winners. A best puppy win and a puppy group two. My sincerest appreciation to David and Susan Laschinski, they own and love Leinie. I co own this beautiful boy with them. Thank you Jack and Bridget Brown for presenting Leinie for us at the nationals and putting an impressive four point major on him. I can not forget Lori McClain, she works so hard to condition and care for these beautiful boxers. I have been traveling with her this year, I see her dedication and commitment to the breed. Lori put the remainder of the points on Leinie and finished all four champions for me this year that I own, coown and or bred. Please stay tuned, please call the office for all pricing deails. 05/13/2007 ABC Wins! At the Boxer Nationals Happy Tail's was recognized for our efforts in breeding good temperament quality boxers. Here are the stats... Woodgate's Happy Tail's Nevermore "RAVEN" won the MOST PUPPY BLUES AWARD. This was received by Amy Bieri and Patricia Kennedy at the Awards dinner. Raven went on to show in the best of breed competition, she is a young 19 months of age and made it thru 3 cuts nearly to the end beating out bitches that were in the top twenty for 2006. Thank you Lori McClain for beautifully presenting Raven at the Nationals. Happy Tail's Campfire Stories "LEINIE" won the 12 to 15 month fawn class in Futurity then went on to win a third placement in the 12 to 18 month classes. Leinie impressively beat 30 dogs out in his class. Thank you Jack Brown for your professionalism and handling Leinie to his wins. Happy Tail's Dart impact "MAXXIMUS" won the American Bred class, then made the cut for winners dog. Maxximus was also shown and presented by Lori McClain. CH Interlude's Barb Wire N Roses, CGC,TDI "MEADOW" earned two Novice Rally legs with qualifying scores of 97 and 98 out of a possible 100. We owe our appreciation to our judge Miss Jean Fournier. 02/28/2007 Indy was bad for the Bears but good for our Happy Tail's Team! 2/7/07 D'Artagnan win's the vetern's class handled by myself at the Boxer Specialty. He still has it! Our beautiful girl Woodgate's Happy Tail's Never More, "Raven" was very consistent. She took 2 reserve 5 point majors and won Winners bitch and Best of opposite over the special for a five point major!!! Raven is owned and loved by Pat and Dan Kennedy and myself. We look forward to it! 02/05/2007 A New Champion! We are proud to announce that Vixen (Happy Tail's You're My Diamond Girl) has become a NEW CHAMPION today. She is the first home bred champion for us here at Happy Tail's. Vixen finished in style with three majors, BOB wins from the classes and a grand sweeps win as a puppy. Thank you to Miss Lori McClain for her professional handling of Vixen throughout her show career. Vixen is AJ and Diamond's first champion kid along with D'Artagnan's first champion grand kid! 02/03/2007 Winning weekend! On Saturday and Sunday January 14th and 15th we showed in Des Moines Iowa. Showing Saturday Woodgate's Happy Tail's Nevermore, "Raven" won reserve winners, Sunday JoKar's Don't Call Me Plain Jane, "Dharma" took the point and went best of winners and best of opposite. Then on Sunday AJ and Connie went on to earn his AGILITY EXCELLENT STANDARD TITLE with another SECOND placement!!!! Way to go guys! 12/19/2006 Raven's major Reserve! This was Raven's 3rd Reserve major in the last 2 weeks! Raven was professionally handled by Lori McClain 12/19/2006 Meadow Blooms! This was a VERY EXCITING weekend for us here at Happy Tails Ranch. We showed at Stone City kennel club in Morris, IL this weekend. Our beautiful bitch came out yesterday and won the breed against 8 specials after being on the couch for the last year and a half and whelping puppies 5 months ago. The competition was unreal, we had several 2006 top twenty contenders in the ring against us. If that was not enough for my heart to take Meadow went on to win a GROUP 2!!!!! (I think I am still in shock) Meadow was professionally handled to her wins by Miss Lori McClain. Meadow is by our boy D'Artagnan. (he currently has a fist placement and qualifying leg in excellent standard) Thank you to my dear friend Connie Hillquist for superbly handling AJ in this very difficult agility event. 09/13/2006 Star the Star! Our junior handler Kayleigh Smith wins a point on her D'Artagnan daughter Star. (Sapphire's Shining Star) This gives Star 2 points now. Congratulations Kayleigh! Nice win..... Kayleigh and Star showed in Wilmot,WI September 9th and 10th. 09/13/2006 A Great Weekend! We are pleased Boetie(Firestar's Dart Advantage) picked up 2 more singles and taking BOS over 1 special winning both days in West Bend, WI September 2nd and 3rd!
